I always wanted to be a SAHM, but first...For sure! I always wanted to be a SAHM, but first I had to work while hubby did his schooling (let's call his version of college "delayed schooling"). He had wanted to be a doctor, too. But we discussed wanting a family and he also decided that he didn't want to miss out on our children's lives while being on call regularly.
